Group Therapy

I work with groups with special interests, needs, and problems utilizing the family systems approach to therapy.

I organize women's, men's, mother/daughter's, teenager's and couples' groups. At the present time I am in the process of putting together a group for people dealing with co-dependency. The group will meet weekly in the evening hours at my office in Manhattan. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in joining one of these groups, please contact me at : mft33@aol.com. It is sometimes possible to fit into an existing group. More often, it is better to design groups that I feel will develop a strong dynamic from among interested individuals, couples or mother/daughter tandems. This enables me to maximize the experience.

The mother/daughter group experience is unique and can focus on varying age groups from young, to teenage and even adult daughters and moms.

The group approach can often serve as a helpful adjunct to individual, family or couples therapy.
