When to seek help

Services I work closely with individuals to explore and understand personal inner dynamics, by examining their unique experiences. With a focus on the family structure, we work together to gain insight into the development of the ‘self’ and the lasting effects of early communications, influences and relationships which deeply affect their present day world. Rather than seeing therapy as some patients do—as a means of simply avoiding the pain—I work with people to enable them to understand and ‘get in touch’ with their own inner reality, and make peace with these feelings, their past, their inner selves. The growth of the Individual and the integration of all the parts of the self is a supreme goal of my therapy. I work with individuals who have experienced failed or unfulfilled relationships and are interested in establishing gratifying ones and/or finding direction in their lives. In addition, I work with individuals dealing with childhood trauma (abuse, abandonment, neglect), co-dependency (major focus on another person), addiction (alcoholism, sex, drugs, gambling), eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, divorce, grief or loss of a loved one, intimacy issues, depression, anxiety disorders, stress, sexual issues , sexual identity questions and difficulty in caring for elderly parents. .
